OUR STAFF

ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

     Cami Phelps is the Practice Manager.  She has been with Ashburn Veterinary Hospital for over two years.  She also manages our sister hospital, Feline Medical Care Center.  She handles the hospital operations and staff management.  She loves the opportunity to meet clients and especially patients.  She is passionate about the veterinary field because it provides the opportunity to truly connect with people and their pets and make a difference.

  Michele Woodward is the Business Coordinator for both Ashburn Veterinary Hospital and Feline Medical Care Center.  She oversees inventory and client communication within the hospital.  She enjoys her job tremendously and especially enjoys interacting with patients.  Michele often invites in-house patients to visit in the office during their stay.  She is dedicated to supporting our clients' needs so our staff can provide the highest level of care.
 

 

CLIENT SERVICE STAFF
Our Client Service Staff is always ready to help with a smile.  They participate in continuing education to better serve our patients and our clients.  Feel free to ask questions of anyone on our friendly and competent team at the front desk, they are willing to go above and beyond to make sure our clients and our patients have everything they need.

  Melissa Painter is our Client Service Staff Lead.  She supervises the Client Service Staff as well as making sure they have updated information on new vaccines, treatments and other medical information.  She loves our clients and their pets and always has a smile for everyone.  

       Rebecca McCue spends her time at both AVH and Feline Medical Care Center.  She loves canines and felines alike and enjoys welcoming clients and their pets.  She is always cheerful and willing to help in any way possible.  

  



NURSING STAFF
Our nursing staff is dedicated to providing exceptional care to every patient we see.  They partner with our doctors and our clients in order to achieve comprehensive plans that ensure thorough care for our patients.

Our nursing staff also attends in-house and off-site continuing education.  These seminars and classes strengthen and develop their knowledge in many areas of medicine and preventative care.  We believe that continual education provides our staff with the expertise to offer superior care to our patients.  We are dedicated to that goal and to helping each and every pet we see.

    Kyla Phelps is our Head Nurse.  She started at AVH as a receptionist and has worked in every area of the hospital, but nursing is where she found her home.  She loves medicine and is always curious to learn more.  Kyla has loved animals since she was little and has a kind and gentle spirit.  She has a cat named Tibet who Kyla rescued.  She is pictured here with her dog, Boon.    


   Sarah Manning has been with AVH for over nine years.  She too is well-known by our clients.  She is lighthearted and quick to smile.  She loves to see clients and their pets and is always willing to share a laugh!  Sarah lives on a farm with her husband for over 8 years.  They have all kinds of animals from chickens to horses.  She enjoys caring for her pets and spending time at home.
 

      Lisa Pavel has been with us since she was in high school.  She is currently attending NOVA for undergraduate studies and will begin formal training as a veterinary technician in the fall.  Lisa has an intense love for all animals and has a gift for communicating with them.  She puts clients and patients at ease with her obvious affection and warmth.
